Volunteer - Shop Early & Earn More!
Our volunteers are the heart and soul of every sale. Without you, there would simply not be a sale. As a benefit you will get the opportunity to shop before the general public, and before the consignors can shop the sale. You will have first pick of all the great bargains.
- 8-hour volunteers shop on Thursday afternoon starting at 3:00pm
- 4-hour volunteers shop on Thurday afternoon starting at 4:00pm
- You don't have to be a CONSIGNOR to volunteer - anyone is welcome!
In addition to the pre-sale, your sign-up fee will be waived, and if you volunteer
for two or more shifts your consignment percentage will be raised to 80%
Volunteers are asked to help out in 4 hour shifts. Among other things, volunteer duties include setting up the rooms, accepting merchandise at drop off, organizing and assisting customers during the sale, handling the check out registers, sorting tags, etc. Seated positions are available. Husbands, dads and partners are also welcome to volunteer. As a matter of fact, they are a great help during set-up and tear-down. Please note that for their own safety children are not allowed during your volunteer shift.

No-Shows
We count on you! "From Yours To Mine", LLC is committed to providing the best possible experience to its consignors and shoppers. Please make sure you are available before you make a commitment.
If you are unable to fulfill your shift, you are responsible for finding a replacement. If you can not provide a replacement, your sales commission will be lowered to 50%.
Can't help during the sale but would really, really like a pre-sale pass?
The Yardsign Drive - Sign up to post yardsigns in your area. The signs will be available during drop off hours at the arena. You will receive a map with the road(s) where you can post the signs. You pick the signs back up on Sunday and return them to us when you pick up your unsold items. You will be invited to shop the volunteer pre-sale with our 4-hour volunteers.
And if you combine the Yard Sign Drive with one 4-hour shift, it counts as another 4-hour shift meaning that you can shop our pre-sale starting at 3:00 pm, your consignor fee will be waived and your consignor percentage will be raised to 80%.
The Postcard Drive II - We provide you with pre-sorted postcards and a list of places to drop them off at. You drive to 8-12 different locations around your town, like daycare centers, pediatrician offices, coffee shops, etc. and drop them off. This opportunity will earn you one pre-sale pass to enter our sale with our 4-hour volunteers.
Other Opportunities
Car Magnets - All you have to do is attach a car magnet on your car doors, and then drive around where you are going with your kids anyway. You must live in Lakeville, Burnsville, Farmington, or Apple Valley for this opportunity. Your name will be entered into a drawing for one $20 FYTM Gift Certificate.
The Postcard Drive I - Back by highly popular demand. We
provide you with postcards, and you hand them out to family, friends,
neighbors, the mom at the grocery store, your daycare, your moms club,
the pediatricians office, your ECFE class, the library, and anywhere
else you find fellow moms.
The cards have a special offer for the shoppers on the back, encouraging them to return them during the sale, and a referred by field for your name or consignor number. Each card will be entered into a drawing for your chance to win one of three $10 gift certificates to a local restaurant or store. So each returned card increases your chances to win.
Please note that it is illegal to put the postcards inside or on a U.S. Postal Mailbox!
